    Hi, a quick summary. I represent a group of objectors against two townhouses planned for a neighbours backyard. Have gone through the Council process and Council refused permit. Applicant is appealing through VCAT – hearing Thursday.
    We feel it’s over development but don’t have direct negative impacts on amenity of our properties.
    Am I right in saying we should refer to clause 55 and how it doesn’t meet the objectives – respects the existing/preferred neighbourhood character, and back it up with details of nothing similar in the area, average building density/setbacks etc?
    Any help much appreciated, we’ve been campaigning for over 2 years and want to do our best at the last hurdle. Sorry about last minute request.
