Can I record or get a recording of a VCAT Hearing?

Yes – as of Nov11th 2013, VCAT have re-instated the ability to get recordings of hearings – up to $110 per day for the recordings. There has been no ruling on self recorded hearings – SOS were advised it would be upto the presiding member, and recomend you are very open about your intent to record. – After all,  the rooms already have warnings of recording in progress etc. More Info from VCAT here:Audio CDs of hearings now available to parties
