{"id":2614,"date":"2017-10-31T11:31:36","date_gmt":"2017-10-31T01:31:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sos.asn.au\/?p=2614"},"modified":"2017-10-31T13:05:44","modified_gmt":"2017-10-31T03:05:44","slug":"sos-agm-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sos.asn.au\/vic\/2017\/10\/31\/sos-agm-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"SOS AGM 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<strong>Notice of FY 16\/17 Annual General Meeting and screening of \u201cCitizen Jane \u2013 Battle for the City\u201d<\/strong><\/ul>\n<p><strong>Save Our Suburbs Inc (Vic) will hold its 2017 AGM on Sunday 19th November 2017 at 2:30pm in Meeting Room 1, Hawthorn Library, 584 Glenferrie Rd Hawthorn.<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/sos.asn.au\/vic\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Map-AGM.17-venue.docx\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DOWNLOAD MAP OF VENUE HERE<\/a><br \/>\nThe SOS Committee decided earlier this year not to levy membership fees for the 17\/18 financial year, and that all paid-up members from FY 15\/16 would remain current members for this financial year.  Consequently, all SOS members financial until 30 June 2016 (FY 15\/16) or later are current members and may vote at this AGM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At this AGM, the Association will &#8211;<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Confirm the minutes of the last preceding annual general meeting;<br \/>\n&#8211; Receive a report from the President and a s94 financial report for last financial year<br \/>\n&#8211; Elect a proportion of the Officers and Committee members of the Association, as follows:<br \/>\n <em>Vice-President, Treasurer &#038; Secretary;  three ordinary committee members <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nominations for the committee:<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/sos.asn.au\/vic\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Nomination-Form-2017.doc\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DOWNLOAD NOMINATION FORM HERE<\/a><br \/>\nNominations must be in writing and signed by the current member and two other current members of the Association. Nomination forms are on our website home-page:  <sos.asn.au\/>   but any format is acceptable if it contains the required information.
